Friends are good. Hugs, smiles, laughter, support, loyalty, strength, rolling with you and your punches, being there to catch you when you fall, never being the one that pushes, and looking out for your best, most healthy, and happy interests are a handful of qualities a true friend has. AND the qualities that their true friends have and give back to them. Friends are good. I love mine, and I appreciate them. And I miss a lot of them that don't live nearby. So to all of you that have been, or will be, my forever friends, I thank you quite kindly, for allowing me the honor, of having you in my life, and I pray I am able to do for you, all that you do for me. This includes siblings as I happen to have the very best ever.
In crisis, I turn to my friends...as a child though, sometimes it's hard to do even that. When my family was falling apart, I did all I could to "make it better" ...to "fix" everything. But I didn't have the strength to talk. So I went into my hibernation mode. I've been there before. As an adult, I go into my Melli cave and...well, what else? Draw. Cave Drawings. :) It's how I maintain beauty and calm, when the world starts spinning too quickly for me.
So, here are some of my Melli-Neanderthawl-Cave sketches.
